It would probably make a lot more sense if the PeerTube instance had a more recent version. For easier Account handling, Video management, federation handling, security etc.
Also I would like to know who we should contact if @Alexkohler1 wants a PeerTube Account for the psc(recordings of talks etc, are currently at Program 2025 and the Streams on psc YouTube).
May you always have wind in your sails and a hand-width of water under your keel!

sorry for the late reply! I looked into this, and it seems the peertube account was setup by the previous pirate delegation in the European Parliament, and isn’t managed by the European Pirates directly. I can try to get them to update the information there accordingly.
I didnt know he was maintaining the PPEU PeerTube Server. I thought the PPCZ is in charge here.
Well anyway, I gathered a little info(from our German perspective) and had some propositions and thoughts I wanted to share with you here(related to Join Mastodon - #41 by Nick):
other German ones I know of of varying state, few are maintained
Last month Version v8.0.2 got released.
Version 5.2.1 got released Aug 30, 2023; Version 4.2.2 got released Jun 28, 2022; both have known security vulnerabilities, lack features and QoL improvements.
Updating and maintaining them would be important, to improve security, user experience etc.
Ideas PeerTube:
While we could again take this up each on our own I see opportunities for synergies, although with some caveats.
Having a well working video server generally speaking is a good idea, that way we dont have to host on YT or other platforms (potentially with other downsides when embedding to our web sites etc)
Making them Federate is just an overall improvement, lots of content can be interesting not just on our web pages, but also for a wider audience. Being able to follow, comment, share and like our video channels would therefore be nice.
Although I see some issues when maintaining one unified VoD platform:
We might see a bloat of disc space usage, and whoever hosts the server might face a lot of costs.
Therefore it should obviously be invite only, no public user registration, which could add friction that prevents local party branches from using it. Thereby defeating the point a bit.
Which is why it might be better for now if most Pirate Parties handle their own server, although I personally would be open to cooperation.
