due to more recent developments I would like to try to give this a new drive.
On the issue of Friendica:
May I propose something, since administration seems to be a bit difficult as far as I can tell from this thread.
- The PPDE does maintain a Friendica server(piratenpartei.social), which we can do very well since it is maintained by one of the Friendica developers(who is also a Pirate).
Why dont we merge efforts into one for the PPEU as a whole?
I am very certain that everyone involved could be swayed to join forces.
My idea would be that you(PPEU) mandate our Friendica admin or the PPDE as a whole to spin up a PPEU Friendica server. (While the PPDE server would be shut down and migrated/merged or maintained alongside(if not too much of a burden)).
That would wrap up our main Friendica issue. - On the issue of Friendica integration to social media managers,
I am currently working on this with our Friendica developer.

As you can see one has already been merged so I will know if this has been fixed soon.
TL;DR: Friendica should soon be able to integrate (mostly) with all applications that support the Mastodon API(and in particular we will make sure it works with Postiz).
