The Webinar
At this 7th meeting, Knowledge Rights 21 (KR21) partner SPARC Europe welcomes speakers from Slovenia and Sweden to share their experiences and perspectives:
-
Slovenia:
-
Dr. Maja Bogataj Jančič – ODIPI / KR21 National and Regional Coordinator for the Western Balkans
-
Miro Pušnik – Central Technical Library, University of Ljubljana / National Council for Library Services of Slovenia
-
-
Sweden:
- Eric Luth – Wikimedia Sverige / KR21 National Coordinator
Earlier this year, Slovenia adopted Secondary Publishing Rights (SPR) into its national legislation, complementing and reinforcing the Rights Retention obligations already introduced in 2021. Wikimedia Sverige co-authored, along with the Swedish Library Association, a KR21-supported report on Open Science exploring the current state of rights retention and SPR in Sweden.
Following the presentations, community members will have the opportunity to share their own experiences, challenges, and insights in an open discussion.
