This is the first report that I write to the board since I started the role as Secretary General on June 22. These reports will normally be conducted on a monthly basis, and they are submitted to the board ahead of their meetings, in line with the requirement. The format of the reports are likely to develop over time. Feel free to post questions and suggestions for improvements in this thread.

Secretary General Report - July 2025
- Covers the period of 2025-06-22 to 2025-07-27
Management
- The entire Management team, except for the Secretary General is currently vacant, as such there is not much to report here.
- An organisational structure has been created, and a call for volunteers to fill the roles has been posted on Discourse.
- Drafted proposal to the board on clarifications of the Secretary General mandate.
- Introduced myself, with an AMA, on our Discourse
Operations
- Entire team vacant!
- Been in touch with the Slovenian Pirates about the prospect of holding a Council meeting in Slovenia in the beginning of 2026.
IT
- Had discussions with Bastian Krone about the relationship with his company as regards to the management of the IT infrastructure of the organisation, and how that can best be incorporated into the Secretariat structure.
- Had a look at Discourse and our problem with the Admin page there. Found a volunteer to be a moderator on Discourse once we have sorted out the admin page problem.
Communication
- Entire team vacant!
- Three posts created on the webpage: Two in June on the Pirate Academy, and one in July on the Stop Killing Games ECI reaching the required numbers of signatures.
- Initial contact taken with Designer about the prospect of re-designing the logo. See separate proposal to the board.
Commmunity & Outreach
- Entire team vacant
- Represented the organisation at IGF in Norway, together with Sara and Alessandro from the board, and with the help of volunteers from different pirate parties across Europe.
- Been in contact with Markéta about her availability to come to Slovenia for a potential event there in January next year in connection to our Council meeting.
- Had a meeting with one of Markétas assistants about how to collaborate with our MEP office
- Discussed with Keith, PPI Chair, about the possibility of co-organizing a Think Twice conference in Austria next year.
- Been in contact with Volt about how to best collaborate across Europe
- Had a meeting with the president of the German Party PDF.
Policy
