Delegates for the 17th Council meeting

This thread will list all delegates for the 17th Council meeting of the European Pirate Party.

This first post will be updated with the current list of delegates. Registration of new delegates, change of delegates, or handing over of votes, can be done by posting a message in this thread, clearly stating who should act as a delegate for which party, and with what voting rights, by anyone authorized by their member party to do so. Don’t forget to include full name of the delegate, along with their Profile name here on Discourse.

It is also very helpful if you can let us know if the delegates will participate on site in Prague, or plan on attending remotely.

.

It is possible to state an order of voting rights among multiple delegates (i.e. person X has the right to vote on behalf of the party with A number of votes. If person X is absent from a vote then person Y has that right, if person Y is absent then person Z has that vote, and so on). Please bear in mind the number of delegates allowed to each party when creating such a list. And clearly indicate the number of votes for each delegate involved.

Young Pirates of Europe will send Samuel Enenkl (@samenenkl) as the delegate. I will be on-site in Prague.

PPCZ: I would like to also use the second Czech spot and nominate Raman Ojha (@Raman-Ojha) as the other Czech delegate. PPCZ has a GA two weeks before the PPEU Council meeting and I vowed to quit the party if certain motion gets passed there, so Raman will be the backup if it comes to that. Thanks.

Hope it won’t happen

Yeah, I’d say right now there’s about 50:50 chance that democracy within PPCZ will die with thunderous applause…

I guess I missed something…

I would like to register as second delegate for the Pirate Party Netherlands. I will be on-site in Prague.

For PPCH we delegate me, president and Pipo, vice-president of Pirate Party Switzerland. We both will attend online.

PPCZ is definitively going to hell, so I just resigned as a member and as its intl. coordinator. I’m therefore withdrawing my own nomination as a delegate for this meeting. So the only one for PPCZ right now is Raman Ojha. Thank you.

Hi everyone, as Mike already mentioned that he has unfortunately paused his membership in the Czech Pirate Party, i will be representing PPCZ at the next council meeting. Please note that i will be attending remotely.

Hey,
i will remember which person we (PP-DE) nominated for the council includes the next council meting, too:

Gregory Engels, Lukas Küffner (onsite) , Thomas Gaul (remote) and Alexander Kohler as delegates and Oliver Herzig as replacement.
PP-DE has 2 votes, can nominate 4 delegates and 2 substitute delegates.
The nomination takes place as a permanent member of the Council until replacement.

With kindest regards

Dennis Klüver

2.Chairman of PP-DE

Dear Dennis,

My understanding of article 14 of the statutes is that PPDE are entitled to 2 votes, and as such 2 delegates.

With the exception for the MEP delegation and the YPE, only parties entitled to 4 or more votes get any additional delegates beyond the 2 delegates allocated to each ordinary member party.

Substitute delegates does not exist in the European Pirate Party statutes. You can of course internally in PPDE define people as substitutes in case your regular delegates need to be replaced for a specific meeting, but that would have to be announced on a case by case basis in their absence.

Could you please clarify which two people will be the delegates at this specific meeting?
