Dear everyone,
We are currently working on our response to the consultation on the implementing regulation for the Digital Passport Registry connected to the Digital Product Passport under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.
Our response will remain grounded in the following main principles:
- privacy and data minimisation by design,
- decentralised and interoperable digital infrastructure,
- free software and open-source-compatible implementation,
- democratic oversight of technical governance,
- procedural fairness and accountability,
- accessibility, proportionality, and transparency,
- cybersecurity and resilience without disproportionate surveillance.
We would appreciate any input or feedback you may have on these areas.
