Dear All,
My name is Marietta Le, I work in the fields of organisational development and citizen participation.
About my professional background: In 2019, I founded and led the Citizen Participation team for the Municipality of Budapest, where my team and I launched the city’s largest participatory budgeting program. Before that, I was the founder of Jarokelo.hu, Hungary’s street-fixing online community. In 2022–2023, as a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow, I participated in the Special Program for Urban and Regional Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I hold a BA in Communication and Media Studies and an MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology.
Currently, I am an advisor to the mayor of District 12 in Budapest. I work as an internal organisational development advisor, my work spanning from recruitment and employee well-being to leadership development, individual and team coaching.
I had the chance to get a glimpse into the work of the Pirates when I was an MEP candidate of the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party in 2024. I am honoured to be nominated a board member. I am hoping to contribute with my knowledge on organisational development, and working with leadership development needs of the organisation and its members. I am also a trained leadership coach, and I would be happy to offer coaching to anyone who thinks they would benefit from individual professional development. Since I also worked as a practitioner in citizen participation, I am happy to contribute to conversations on this topic.
